I am very pleased to again be selected to participate as subject matter expert on WELL’s Materials Concept Advisory team! It’s been an honor to be involved with the IWBI on such a granular level, exploring the content that make up the WELL Standard.
“IWBI advisors are subject matter experts, researchers and practitioners from across many fields and sectors. Their backgrounds include architecture, design, research, medicine, public health and building performance. Together, they are committed to putting the health and well-being of people at the center of building design while also informing the creation of a global research agenda. Advisors also collaborate on emerging industry and scientific research and exchange evidence-based strategies to help transform buildings, organizations and communities in ways that help all people thrive.”
I am joined by a host of seasoned experts in the field of material production, supply chain management, toxicology and design. The newly appointed Materials Advisory team members are not only rich in diverse, multidisciplinary backgrounds, but their origins and places of practice span the globe, helping to ensure equality of input from different perspectives and geographies; an ethos shared by A Greener Space.
I am encouraged by our first meeting that took place last week and have an optimistic outlook for 2021 as being a pivotal year for the industry.
Join me in congratulating my fellow Advisors on this very prestigious appointment and stayed tuned as we continue to learn, collaborate and help shape the future of WELL!
